Andrew grew up in the small town in Southern Ontario called Goderich. He started to play hockey at a young age and played competitive hockey until age 16. He was introduced to nordic skiing by his high school coach and started to ski competitively around the same time he quit hockey. Although he fairly new to the ski world, he plans to take it as far as he can and his very dedicated and serious about skiing.
Andrew started to ski for the Highlands Trailblazers in the season of 2011/2012 and has fell in love with the sport since.
After graduating high school in 2013, Andrew made the descion to put school on the hold to pursue his dream. He qualified for the Callaghan National Development Training Centre in 2013.
Andrew now spends his time training in Whistler B.C. with the Callaghan Development Centre and primarily races on the North American Cup circuit. He plans to qualify for the World Junior Championships this year and hopes to represent Canada.
